Who Is Creativity Tones?

A Part of Mel's Sound Journey

I grew up in a musical family and was given a drum and some cymbals to start my Journey along with a ukulele when I was four years old.  Later on I acquired and was given several musical instruments to play, especially guitars.  My music playing experiences were filled with many exciting moments.  As I grew older, I bought a gong and started playing it for fun with others, a long time ago.  While I was ordering some gong accessories from Gong's Unlimited, they were so excited about their new Himalayan Singing Bowls from Nepal - that Andrew the owner and chief "mallet head" there, insisted I listen to several of the singing bowls over the phone.  And when I heard them, those amazing, uplifting sounds resonated with me, and my journey with Himalayan Bowls began.  I was introduced to several of these amazing Himalayan singing bowls which have become an incredible passion and healing mode for me and others and even my cats.. The singing bowls became a very significant healing component in my life!  My Journey is an interesting history of taking workshops and meeting and playing with sound healers on Vancouver Island in person and online on Zoom with experts around the world... There is still so much to learn and share with others.

My crystal bowl experiences opened up as other sound healers shared their bowls and sound experiences and techniques with me. They've added much to my Sound Healing Journey!  I also participated in many conferences, workshops and courses on Sound Healing in person and interactively on Zoom.

I have my own special collection of crystal singing bowls which I love to play daily.  Some I  play along with my Himalayan Bowls.  I feel so blessed to share their sounds and healing tones with others!

Recently, I felt called to buy and play a Native American Style flute.  This experience has also been enjoyable and these flutes are easy to play, after you learn some basic techniques.  My breath and breathing have improved incredibly!  Breathing exercises with creative tones from wooden flutes are very uplifting!  I'd love to share my experiences!  I feel blessed, playing High Spirits Native Style Flutes.

I have used tuning forks for healing for quite a long time, basically using one, two, or three tuning forks.  Over the past ten years I have studied tuning forks extensively and now use several types of tuning forks for my own healing and when exploring tuning forks with others.

I'm so ready to continue to share what I have learned with you and to help you find an easy sound healing instrument or singing bowl to play and listen to by yourself or with others.

There are so many varieties of bowls and sound healing instruments to try out casually here at Creativity Tones.

About Alice Faye

I am currently a RCRT (Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist) at refreshingreflexology.ca and working part time with Mel, my partner at Creativity Tones.  Mel introduced me to his love of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, wooden flutes and other easy to play Sound Healing instruments.  I am finding them soothing and enjoyable to play.  I have also learned to play an Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer. This is a very happy stringed instrument which is easy to feel accomplished on with few instructions and a little practice.  I have been combining tuning forks with my reflexology treatments.

We are having fun playing these sound healing instruments and very much want to pass the joy onto others with some positive experiences and selling them at affordable prices at many price levels.

Our four inside cats, Sunny and Olivea, two torties and Mickey and Minnie, two black cats are our four feline friends who are very blessed by all the wonderful sounds being produced here....especially the metal Himalayan singing bowls which they all love.  Minnie gets blissed out when Mel plays several of his flutes.

We are looking forward to meeting you in person or connecting with you either on our FaceBook page Creativity Tones or here on our websites: creativitytones.org or Mel's  webpage at
